This PEG 600 meets all applicable requirements in the National Formulary (NF) for use in drug applications, Food Chemicals Codex (FCC) requirements for use in certain food applications and personal care products.
It is also used as a Chemical Intermediate with the primary hydroxyl functionality which allows reactions typical of alcohols, such as conversion of a functional alcohol group to esters, ethers, amines and acetals.
